About our Victorian ensembles
Here at Corinthia's we strive to bring back the Victorian era with designs and construction techniques that are authentic to the era. Our gowns aren't just modern "historically inspired" imitations, they're the real thing! Each ensemble is handmade for the customer, complete with custom sizing to ensure good fit, and designed to her specifications. While we use modern sewing techniques as well, such as serging the seams to lengthen the life of the garments, much is kept the way the Victorians intended. When making an inquiry regarding these designs, please keep these factors in mind.

*Prices are listed in US funds*
The prices below are meant to give you an idea of how much a full ensemble might cost. These are base prices for fabrics such as polyester or acetate taffetas, and poly peau de soie. Deviations from the original design (which are strongly encouraged!) will cause the prices to fluctuate as will alternate fabrics. Please note that the "Madelaine" and "Mina" bodices have the historically accurate back closure with hand bound eyelets. This feature will add quite a bit to the cost, however metal eyelets can be used at no additional cost.
