Our corsets are striking and sturdy, and all are made to order.   Many precise measurements are taken to produce a comfortable and perfect fit.   Corinthia's corsets are made of three layers to ensure long life of the garment.   We use only the highest quality fabrics for the outer layer, a strong interlining and our corsets are lined in durable 100% cotton coutil.   Brocade patterns are meticulously matched at the center front.  All corsets feature a boned underbusk made of matching fashion fabric for extra stability, and to prevent any skin from peeking through the busk.  Corsets are double boned at each seam and exterior bone casings allow for matching or contrasting trim.  Cotton twill tape reinforces the waistline where the most stress is placed on the corset.  Edges are trimmed in hand-made bias of matching fabric, not ribbon that bunches and buckles.  Your corset will be laced through strong two-piece grommets which are bracketed between two steels to prevent any buckling at the back.  Grommets are available in nickel, black, and brass finishes.  Our lacing is both pretty and functional in a satin ribbon colour of your choice.

All of our corsets are suitable for waist-training, especially underbust styles.

Corsets should be ordered 3-5" smaller than your natural waist size.  If you are unsure about which waist reduction might be best for you, contact us and we'll be more than happy to advise you.  Please also note that our corsets are generally meant to close almost all the way.  We personally feel this gives your corset a neat, tailored look .  If you'd prefer a gap in the back, please specify how much of a gap you'd like when ordering.  Boned modesty panels in matching fabric are available for and extra $35 US.  For waist sizes above 36", please add 25%.
