Pending the upcoming Bridal section of the site, Deanna's wedding dress makes its site debut here for now. Atypical of the Victorian dresses I've become known for, this dress has a silhouette reminiscant of Lord of the Rings and was a lot of fun to work on. It is made of diamond white silk dupioni with matching chiffon sleeves. The sleeves are lettuce edged and graduated with plenty of fullness at the bottom for fluttery movement. The silk is lined in broadcloth to add body and prevents show-through of undergarments. The bride chose two types of ribbon for the neckline, sleeves, and belt; a base of turquoise satin and a blue organza ribbon with gold filigree print meant to be used as an overlay. You can see the attention to detail in the third photo. I also made Deanna a small chiffon veil with a double bow on the comb as can be seen in the last photo. Photos of the bride coming as soon as I have her permission to post them!

Kristin is wearing the purple taffeta wedding gown we made for her, composed of a vest bodice, bouffant overskirt with knife pleated trim, and a plain underskirt with a short sweeping train. Thank you Kristin for the beautiful photos!
This frock coat was made for a man's wedding. Made of rich, black velvet with a notched collar, deep cuffs, and frog closures. Also features an inverted box pleat at the back.

Shawna wanted a reproduction of Mina's party dress from Francis Ford Coppola's "Dracula". Here she is on Halloween looking beautiful with friends Jeremy and Mandy. Check out Jeremy's Sirius Black costume from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! Comparison photos of the original dress hopefully to come.
Shawna's underskirt and bouffant overskirt are made of aqua taffeta. The bodice is made of the same taffeta with a vest-like embroidered organza overlay with the sleeves left sheer. Sleeves are trimmed with organza ruffle and the neckline is trimmed with white lace. The bodices closes with self-covered buttons to match the taffeta of the dress.

This dress was custom made for a young lady's graduation. It is made from a black rayon satin and features fancy red braid trim around the neckline. The assymetrical hem has a chiffon lettuce-edged ruffle.

This stunning peacock blue heavy taffeta Polonaise was made for Thomas Viglietta's film "Silent Spring". It is shown over a bustle for a more period fell, though it isn't meant to be worn with one. Still shots from the film to be posted here when they are ready!

We are thrilled to now have photos of Jennifer in her gorgeous dress with her dashing husband!

Jennifer's stunning Victorian wedding dress. Shown over her custom red and black mum corset (as seen above) and a large bustle with extra netting. The skirt is a very full 6 gore skirt with a 1 1/2" train made of a gorgeous beaded/embroidered peau de soie. The train was made so that it could be tied back with ribbons to allow for dancing. The lovely draped overskirt is bouffant style in a pure white peau de soie. The sleeveless bodice is closed with hand-covered and sewn buttons in matching satin and the front is embellished with hand beading that matches the underskirt beading and embroidery, and also with hand-placed rhinestones.

Jennifer's overbust Victorian corset in red and black mum print brocade with single bone casings and lacing stand of black silk. It's a shame about the lighting as the pattern isn't nearly as beautiful in the photos as it is in person. Hopefully some better photos of this corset will be forthcoming. This corset was made to be worn under Jennifer's bustle wedding dress shown above.

And here's the lovely Lindsay wearing the above corset at her prom and looking much better than the dressform! Beautiful photos and a stunning young lady!
