Silk Dupioni

  
We use only the finest quality dupioni, selected in person to ensure fine slubs. This type of silk is similar in lustre to taffeta, but is not as smooth. Fine horizontal "slubs" are woven into the fabric, caused by the slightly uneven fibres the cocoons of wild silkworms are made of. This fabric is readily available in a vast amount of colourways, the shot varieties of which are most beautiful. (Shot refers to the two tone effect as seen in the above swatches).

Silk Peau De Soie

     
Peau de soie, also termed Delustred Satin, is a satin weave that is buttery soft with a subtle sheen. Timeless, understated elegance.

Stretch Velvet

Stretch velvet of the plain variety may also be available in red, hunter green, navy, and purple.

Heavy Taffeta

Peacock blue shown above.  The scan is much darker than the brilliant colour it really is.  This fabric is available in nearly every colour imaginable.  Please inquire about additional colours.
